Originally from Princeton, New Jersey, Benjamin Bailie Johnson (aka. Ben Bailie Emokid) has engaged audiences as large as 10,000+ on over 300 stages, plus conferences, workshops, and retreats, and combines speaking with live music to give “Keynote Concerts” - creating a unique blend of empowerment, edification, and entertainment.

This is not your average keynote. With a voice that easily captivates, a charming, intentionally-vulnerable presence, plus songs that are catchy, memorable, and refreshingly original, Ben brings a truly unique opportunity to the table.

Ben has been featured on FOX, CBS, and PBS, and was ranked as one of the “top acoustic acts in New Jersey”. He has appeared at music festivals such as Bonnaroo, and the Vans Warped Tour, along with acts such as Pearl Jam, Macklemore, Halsey, Death Cab For Cutie, Third Eye Blind, and Sum 41. He has shared stages with Bobby McFerrin (“Don’t Worry, Be Happy”) and jazz legend, Dave Brubeck.

Ben's Keynote Concerts will feature meaningful stories, unique and challenging perspectives, AND live music to help reinforce the key concepts. Audiences will leave feeling recharged, refocused, edified and entertained all at the same time.

The son of a choir director and family therapist, Ben shares, “I feel like I’ve inherited traits from both fields. I’m certainly not a choir director, and I’m definitely not a therapist or counselor, and wouldn’t claim to be. But I have found that there is a power to being a song-leader - using music and choir-techniques (which can be different from choral-techniques) to engage an audience while also delivering an empowering message that people can both take with them, and actively plug into their own lives immediately.

So, when I can, I aim to incorporate both of my parent’s fields into my own line of work.”

Bringing his charm, sincerity, passion, and vulnerability into every element of his presentation, Ben is a feature that you won’t want to miss.
